Formulation Scientist
Role Overview
You will be involved in the development and optimization of Mac-Bon’s core formulation systems, ensuring our products maintain safety, stability, and consistency across different climates and usage scenarios.
This role goes beyond formulation work alone.
You will help build globally reproducible technical foundations that support scalable products and long-term reliability.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the formulation design and optimization of eyelash adhesives, lash lifting, and eye-care products
• Collaborate with the Japan-based fundamental chemistry team on material selection and performance validation
• Design and conduct stability, safety, and consistency testing
• Prepare technical documentation and test records to support compliance and mass productio
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cosmetic or functional material formulation
• Solid understanding of basic experimental design and data analysis
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English (Japanese language ability is a plus)
• Strong sense of responsibility toward product safety and long-term stability
Materials Engineer
You will be responsible for building and strengthening Mac-Bon’s materials technology foundation, directly influencing product performance, reliability, and long-term stability across different environments and usage conditions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our technologies remain scalable, consistent, and dependable from development through real-world application.

• Participate in new material testing and technical feasibility validation

• 2–5 years of experience in materials R&D or a related industry
• Familiarity with basic laboratory experiments and testing methods

Packaging Compatibility Engineer
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, stability, and consistency between packaging and formulation throughout long-term use, playing a critical role in overall product reliability.
This position sits at the intersection of formulation, materials, and manufacturing, helping prevent long-term risks and ensure products perform as intended from production to real-world application.

• Design and conduct compatibility and aging tests between packaging materials and product contents
• Analyze risks related to whitening, migration, sealing performance, and stability
• Collaborate closely with the China-based supply chain team to validate feasibility for mass production
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in packaging, compatibility testing, or product stability-related roles
• Familiarity with testing protocols and documentation processes
• Strong attention to detail and high sensitivity to long-term risk factors
Global Head of Regulatory Compliance
You will be responsible for building and leading the global compliance and safety framework that supports Mac-Bon’s international business expansion.
This role ensures that regulatory requirements are not treated as downstream checks, but are integrated early into R&D, product planning, and commercialization, forming a stable foundation for long-term global growth.
