Formulation Scientist

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the formulation design and optimization of eyelash adhesives, lash lifting, and eye-care products
• Collaborate with the Japan-based fundamental chemistry team on material selection and performance validation
• Design and conduct stability, safety, and consistency testing
• Prepare technical documentation and test records to support compliance and mass productio
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cosmetic or functional material formulation
• Solid understanding of basic experimental design and data analysis
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English (Japanese language ability is a plus)
• Strong sense of responsibility toward product safety and long-term stability
Materials Engineer
You will be responsible for building and strengthening Mac-Bon’s materials technology foundation, directly influencing product performance, reliability, and long-term stability across different environments and usage conditions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our technologies remain scalable, consistent, and dependable from development through real-world application.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate the impact of monomers, polymers, and functional materials on product performance and stability
• Participate in new material testing and technical feasibility validation
• Collaborate closely with R&D and supply chain teams to ensure materials are suitable for scalable and long-term use
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in materials R&D or a related industry
• Familiarity with basic laboratory experiments and testing methods
• Ability to support technical decisions with data-driven analysis
Packaging Compatibility Engineer
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, stability, and consistency between packaging and formulation throughout long-term use, playing a critical role in overall product reliability.
This position sits at the intersection of formulation, materials, and manufacturing, helping prevent long-term risks and ensure products perform as intended from production to real-world application.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and conduct compatibility and aging tests between packaging materials and product contents
• Analyze risks related to whitening, migration, sealing performance, and stability
• Collaborate closely with the China-based supply chain team to validate feasibility for mass production
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in packaging, compatibility testing, or product stability-related roles
• Familiarity with testing protocols and documentation processes
• Strong attention to detail and high sensitivity to long-term risk factors
Global Head of Regulatory Compliance
You will be responsible for building and leading the global compliance and safety framework that supports Mac-Bon’s international business expansion.
This role ensures that regulatory requirements are not treated as downstream checks, but are integrated early into R&D, product planning, and commercialization, forming a stable foundation for long-term global growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage cosmetic regulations and ingredient compliance across international markets
• Establish and maintain systems for product registration, SDS, ingredient documentation, and regulatory files
• Integrate compliance requirements into early-stage R&D and product development planning
• Monitor regulatory updates in major global markets and translate them into actionable internal guidance
Qualifications
• Background in cosmetic regulations, chemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in international cosmetic regulatory compliance
• Strong familiarity with regulations in major global markets
• Ability to use English as a working language in professional settings
User Science Researcher
You will study how real users interact with our products and translate user experience into structured data, insights, and methodologies that can be directly applied to R&D and product design. This role bridges real-world usage with technical decision-making, ensuring that product development is grounded in actual behavior, context, and application logic.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and conduct user experience and usage behavior research
• Analyze differences in product use across countries, cultures, and operating habits
• Translate user insights into actionable input to support product development and R&D decisions
